The California Department of Fish and Wildlife composed this list of FAQs to address common questions pertaining to the RCIS Program. These FAQs may change as the program evolves.

RCIS Program Frequently Asked Questions (2024)

The CDFW RCIS Program website has a comprehensive list of FAQs, addressing program overview, guidelines and guideline revisions, and program details. The FAQs below were identified through outreach to RCIS Program users, proponents, and developers as topics that they would have liked to have a better understanding of before starting the RCIS development process, or topics that would help future RCISs.
